Job Overview

Position: Porter

Holman Motors Inc. is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Porter to support our Sales Consultants throughout the sales process. This role is crucial in ensuring that all operational tasks are executed efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles are ready for demonstration
  • Retrieve vehicles from inventory as required
  • Refuel vehicles for deliveries and demonstrations
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles
  • Transport sold vehicles to the preparation center
  • Keep all vehicles in showroom condition
  • Manage inventory effectively
  • Deliver vehicles to clients or offsite locations for additional services
  • Assist in conducting monthly physical inventory
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings as necessary

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license and be capable of operating a standard transmission vehicle. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to customer service. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential attributes for this role.

Education and Experience

A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with one to two years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This position involves physical demands that must be met by the employee to perform essential functions successfully. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Regular standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds are necessary.
