Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Burlington, CT. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in the classroom.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, assisting with daily tasks and activities.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and instructional activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social growth and academic success.
  • Assist students with personal care, communication, and mobility needs.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with patience, empathy, and a desire to support students' growth.
