Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Tokyo Electron America, Inc. in Plasma Process Optimization.

About the Role:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will collaborate with our plasma process domain experts to develop and implement plasma process optimization methods and workflow. You will leverage fundamental plasma process knowledge, equipment, and diagnostic sensor technologies in building machine learning pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement plasma process optimization methods and workflow
  • Leverage fundamental plasma process knowledge, equipment, and diagnostic sensor technologies in building machine learning pipelines
  • Improve model interpretability using technologies like causal inference
  • Address challenges in building high-accuracy and high-fidelity plasma process prediction and control models
  • Present project status to stakeholders and key leaders
  • Communicate with team members and cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Control System, Plasma Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of applied machine learning
  • Experience with MATLAB, Python, or C++
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
