Position Summary:
The Patient Registration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for new patients into our services. This position is designed to provide a consistent onboarding experience, making it easy for patients and referral partners to navigate their care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with patients, referral sources, sales teams, pharmacy, and nursing staff to coordinate discharge processes and secure necessary nursing and delivery services.
2. Prepare and communicate all required documentation for new patient referrals.
3. Assist patients in securing upfront payments and guide them to financial assistance programs when necessary.
4. Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims management and address any paperwork discrepancies.
5. Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple referrals and priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or medical billing is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Minimum pay starting at $19.19 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
