Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Restore Therapy Services. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to patients and supervising therapy assistants in the performance of therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient's functional status and identify equipment needs
  • Develop treatment programs and establish goals for improved function
  • Communicate plan of care to referring physicians and other company professionals
  • Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities lost due to illness or injury
  • Fabricate splints and instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment
  • Train patients in the use of prosthetic and/or orthotic devices
  • Maintain clinical records and reports to physicians any changes in patient condition
  • Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants according to organization policy and state regulations
Requirements
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation
  • Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
  • Current and valid therapy license in the state employed
  • Familiarity with general use and functions of the computer, including starting programs, using files, and navigating screens
  • Good verbal and written communication, and organization skills
