About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Johns Manville's Winder, GA plant. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production and facilities equipment
  • Ensure equipment is functioning at optimal levels, minimizing downtime and increasing productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and safety
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational certification a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Welding experience and knowledge required
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including safety procedures and maintenance instructions
  • Physical ability to lift 75 pounds and work at heights
  • Must have own tools and be able to pass a drug screening, background check, and medical clearance
