Key Responsibilities

  • Student Evaluation and Feedback: Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback reflecting program learning outcomes and departmental expectations.
  • Professional Development: Remain current in the field through a variety of professional development activities.
  • Technology and Online Learning: Demonstrate proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and other technologies for the classroom, including online learning management systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Chemistry.
  • Experience: Experience in teaching Chemistry courses at the community college level.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse student populations, and proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.
