Practical Nurse Float Position

Job Summary:
The LPN Float Pool Nurse participates in the development and modification of the resident Plan of Care, implementing interventions that are delegated, ordered, or prescribed by the Registered Nurse or physician. As a LPN Float Pool Nurse, you will provide residents with the highest quality of direct routine care, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and in accordance with the Minnesota Board of Nursing standards, the Resident's Bill of Rights and the facility Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
About the Float Pool:
The Monarch Float Pool was created to provide staffing assistance to our facilities. You will have the flexibility to pick your own shifts based on the needs of Monarch Healthcare Management. Travel is expected for this position and there are benefits available. We have a list of facilities that you could potentially be traveling to.
Qualifications:
- Must have:
- Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Current Minnesota License as a Practical Nurse.
- Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care or be willing to get one upon hire.
- Preferred:
- Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities.
