Position Overview

We are looking for a Manufacturing Assembly Specialist to join our team, where we focus on the production of advanced ceramic composite materials for the semiconductor sector. The Manufacturing Assembly Specialist will be responsible for executing all stages of semiconductor equipment assembly in accordance with established operating protocols and will provide suggestions for enhancements to both new and existing programs, documentation, fixtures, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and bond intricate semiconductor components and assemblies
  • Conduct cleaning and inspection of components and assemblies
  • Assess procedures and propose modifications for improved efficiency and adaptability in production
  • Perform regular inspections of work, documenting results, and ensuring finished products meet specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to address and resolve issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of necessary documentation
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Proficient in metrology, including the use of hand and electronic measuring tools (with precision less than .0001 inches) and other electronic devices
  • Experience in initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing processes
  • Background in a precision assembly environment
  • Preferred minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical assembly position
  • Familiarity with precision measurement techniques and systems
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process documentation
  • Proven capability to adhere closely to instructions and procedures while suggesting continuous improvements
  • Experience with networked PC systems (including spreadsheets and MRP systems)
