About the Role:

As an Audio Technician at MGM Resorts International, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional sound experiences for live performances and events. Your expertise will ensure that every show is a success, with clear, balanced sound that enhances the overall audience experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain audio equipment, including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and speakers.
  • Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver seamless audio experiences.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of all audio equipment specific to the production to operate equipment safely.
  • Participate in special event projects, such as slot tournaments and private events.
Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • 3+ years of prior relevant experience as an Entertainment Technician.
  • Proficient in repairing audio, RF, video, and operation of Midas consoles and Yamaha consoles.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software and technology.
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
  • Entertainment or touring background of concert, theater, or Cirque de Soleil.
