Job Summary:

The Mechanical Assembly position involves the production of our company's products, requiring a high level of precision and attention to detail. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling pumping stations according to schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams. This is a self-directed and collaborative role that requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble pumping stations per schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Verify your work and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Report non-conformances to area lead or supervisors as they arise.
  • Work independently or with a team.
  • Train others as needed.
  • Utilize safe, quality practices and systems.
  • Maintain an organized, clean work area.
  • Record time for the jobs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Manufacturing or Assembly experience using Hand and Power Tools.
  • Experience with a bandsaw, grooving equipment, and threading machine is a plus.

  • Works well under pressure and deadlines
  • Capacity to adjust to change
  • Flexibility to work overtime and varying shifts as business needs dictate.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee is required to handle power tools and to manipulate tools, wires, and components.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The position involves lifting more than 20 pounds for long periods throughout the day.
