We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Memory Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for promoting excellence in resident care, championing the designated care manager concept, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans, provide outreach and support to families, and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and coach team members, manage staffing and scheduling, and promote a positive work environment.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and champion the Resident Centered model.
- Community Engagement: Partner with the Activities and Volunteer Coordinator to develop and implement engaging activities, and collaborate with the Resident Care Director to ensure resident clinical needs are addressed.
- Financial Management: Manage the department budget, process expenses, and submit financial reports in a timely manner.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with professional developments in the field, and maintain compliance with required training and certifications.
- Experience: One year of supervisory experience in dementia care, hiring staff, coaching, counseling, performance management, and daily operations supervision.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Sunrise applications, with the ability to learn new applications.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
