Job Title: Inventory Specialist

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and oversee all activities related to inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
  • Support regional and branch offices with inbound and outbound orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with Office Managers, General Managers, and Project Managers to execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end physical inventories, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances and discrepancies, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist with researching and updating purchase orders based on delivery tickets, ensuring seamless inventory management.
  • Identify slow-moving and obsolete products, providing insights for inventory optimization.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Ensure inventory count integrity, maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits.
  • Provide necessary documentation for year-end inventory audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the development team to enhance Sage purchasing and inventory software, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex inventory issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
