Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our Technical Division at Lawson State Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum for various technical programs, including drafting, design, electronics, cosmetology, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for technical programs, including lectures, labs, and demonstrations
  • Supervise students and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Develop and implement assessments and evaluations to measure student progress
  • Communicate with students, colleagues, and administrators to ensure effective program delivery
  • Participate in departmental orientation and adhere to college policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in the teaching discipline or a related field
  • Three years of successful full-time experience as a practitioner in the field
  • Ability to teach and develop curriculum for various technical programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
