Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Safety and Operations
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive safety program to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Oversee daily plant production and maintenance activities to optimize plant performance.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of plant staff to achieve production goals and targets.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Collaborate with maintenance managers to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Business Development and Growth
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality and Continuous Improvement
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality products.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in managing operations in a slag grinding facility.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
    • Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and equipment.
    • Experience with process control systems and maintenance management.
