About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, including general nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and radionuclide therapy procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all technical procedures in Nuclear Medicine, obtaining high-quality patient scans and delivering high-quality care.
  • Establish intravenous access, receive, dispense, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and imaging contrast agents in accordance with applicable regulatory accreditation.
  • Ensure that all imaging systems and equipment operate at levels of accepted standards and are properly maintained.
  • Perform required quality control on all imaging equipment and devices.
  • Manage imaging datasets, including transfer, archive, and retrieval.
  • Maintain all necessary records and reports in a correct, timely, and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
  • Associate's of Science or closely related degree required (Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred).
  • Current certification and/or registration in Nuclear Medicine required (e.g., ARRT, NMTCB).
  • Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License in Nuclear Medicine required.
  • Current certification and/or registration in Computed Tomography (e.g., ARRT, NMTCB) or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License in Computed Tomography or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
  • Current BLS certification or must obtain an active BLS certification within 90-days of hire.
