BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Garrett Park, Maryland.

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to seniors in their homes. As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to work independently and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting home visits to assess and develop individualized care plans for clients.
  • Performing diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate client mobility and function.
  • Developing and implementing manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions to promote client independence and well-being.
  • Collaborating with nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Providing education and instruction to clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary for optimal health and safety.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) are preferred.
