The Regional Credit Administrator plays a crucial role in managing the credit risk associated with the regional loan portfolio, ensuring compliance with established guidelines set forth by senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Credit Risk Management:**
- Oversee the credit risk within the loan portfolio, ensuring adherence to the bank's lending policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide loan approvals within designated authority and recommend larger commitments to appropriate levels of management.
2. **Policy Implementation:**
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Bank's Loan Policy and lending procedures.
- Maintain and interpret written loan policies and procedures for all banking loans.
3. **Monitoring and Reporting:**
- Develop and implement controls for early detection of potential credit issues.
- Conduct regular reviews of loan performance and report findings to senior management.
4. **Team Leadership:**
- Provide guidance and support to team leaders and lending officers in credit-related matters.
- Conduct training programs to enhance the analytical skills of loan officers.
5. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with various stakeholders, including corporate special assets groups and legal advisors, to address complex credit situations.
- Participate in business development activities to strengthen client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant banking experience, particularly in credit administration and loan management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The compensation for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience, including eligibility for an annual bonus plan.
