Job Title: Group Home Manager Autumn House

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Group Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Autumn House program. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, coordinating client services, and ensuring adherence to all regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and interview potential candidates, along with the Program Manager
  • Schedule staff to ensure sufficient coverage and minimize use of overtime
  • Orient and train staff in all areas, including fire safety and evacuation procedures, household operations, record-keeping/charting, incident reporting, grocery shopping/meal preparation, finances, regulations, and licensing
  • Provide supervision of staff through individual and group meetings and role-modeling
  • Complete individual evaluations, attend team meetings, and serve as a liaison between programs and professional staff
  • Evaluate individual programs for effectiveness and recommend changes to the QDDP
  • Ensure program services and supports are being carried out consistently, order house supplies, and schedule maintenance
  • Supervise the timely and accurate completion of staff's paperwork, complete required daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork requirements, and monitor records to ensure files are complete and up to date
  • Provide direct care to clients, oversee and assist with activities of daily living, schedule appointments, and attend with clients whenever necessary
  • Plan recreational activities for clients, supervise clients at UCS facilities and off-site locations, provide social support to clients, and ensure client integration into the community
  • Coordinate appointments with other providers, complete necessary documentation, and assist individuals and staff in the identification of strengths, needs, and goals

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Windows software skills, both typing and navigating, and e-mail usage
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must become delegated by DS RN to pass medications for specified residents within 6 months of employment
