Job Title: Data Network Engineer

Resource Logistics is seeking an experienced Data Network Engineer to join our IT Global Infrastructure team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of network operations, delivering best-in-class customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Colorado Office network.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to make logical decisions and quickly execute in a crisis situation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and telephony communications systems in a large enterprise and factory environment.
  • Provide technical and networking administrative day-to-day support to internal customers in Colorado on all networking-related issues.
  • Assist project teams on project implementation and provide support for common and advanced network administrative tasks.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex and advanced regional networking/telephony problems and coordinate with vendors.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and investigate historical issues.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Enterprise-level Local Area networks.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with Enterprise-level WAN networks, preferably MPLS.
  • Experience in network infrastructure planning, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
  • Experience with capacity planning, utilization review, and performance monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tier 3 Global/Enterprise Network support background.
  • At least one or more of the following: CCNP/CCIP and/or demonstrate capabilities at these levels.
  • Detailed knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and other common network protocols.
  • Highly skilled in MPLS/IP VPN technology.
  • Solid experience of all Cisco hardware, especially configuring Cisco family of routers and switches.
