Civil Litigation Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Associate to join our team at Jobot. As a Civil Litigation Associate, you will be responsible for managing all phases of civil litigation from inception to resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in the preparation and presentation of cases.
  • Stay abreast of current laws, rulings, and regulations that may impact clients and cases.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a civil litigation associate.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Proven experience in litigation, mediation, and depositions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts and strategies to clients and team members.
