Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Stem Cell Transplant Unit at UHealth Tower. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals undergoing stem cell transplants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and pain management.
  • Monitor and report patient vital signs, lab results, and other critical information to ensure timely interventions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-care and independence.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices and quality improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Current Florida RN licensure and BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience, preferably in an ICU or hematology/oncology setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and maintain accurate records.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and research in critical care nursing.
