Job Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Specialist position at 4 Horn Industrial supports the branch and client in all maintenance and repair of industrial equipment needs. This role ensures that all rental equipment maintenance and repair needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs of all rental equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests of all equipment to guarantee safe operation prior to customer delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and other departments of the branch to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Troubleshoot rental equipment to identify the most efficient solution for repair or replacement.
  • Produce accurate and complete service tickets and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with the team to ensure timely ordering and stocking of necessary parts, equipment, and accessories.
  • Stay up-to-date with Company products, inventory, and delivery capabilities to provide expert advice and support.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience working as a service technician on rental equipment, including dirt/aerial/wheeled & track units.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally, participating in an on-call schedule.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.
  • Valid state driver's license with a moderately clean driving record.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
