Clinical Quality Coordinator

This role is integral to overseeing various quality assurance programs within the organization. Responsibilities include managing post-discharge follow-ups, ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations, and providing training in customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post-Discharge Follow-Up: Regularly generates reports to identify patients recently discharged from affiliated facilities. Evaluates the necessity for follow-up appointments with medical professionals and coordinates scheduling as needed.
- Compliance Training: Facilitates annual training sessions for staff regarding OSHA and HIPAA protocols. Responsible for maintaining compliance documentation and conducting office inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Incident Management: Addresses quality and safety issues related to laboratory and radiology services. Implements corrective training for staff and maintains thorough documentation of incidents.
- Workplace Safety: Manages protocols related to workplace injuries, ensuring that all necessary follow-up actions are completed for both employees and patients.
- Public Health Compliance: Ensures that all offices adhere to public health regulations, including maintaining necessary certifications and overseeing infection control measures.
- Training New Employees: Collaborates with the training team to deliver customer service training for new staff members.
- Support for Office Managers: Acts as a resource for office managers, providing expertise on safety and compliance protocols.
