Position Overview:

The Quality Coordinator is integral to overseeing various quality assurance programs within the organization. This role encompasses responsibilities such as conducting post-discharge follow-up calls, ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations, managing incident follow-ups in Lab, Radiology, and Endoscopy services, and facilitating customer service training for staff.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Post-Discharge Follow-Up: Regularly reviews reports to identify patients recently discharged from healthcare facilities. Evaluates the necessity for follow-up appointments with medical professionals and coordinates scheduling with primary care providers.
  • Compliance Training: Leads annual and new hire training sessions on OSHA and HIPAA compliance, while maintaining and implementing relevant protocols across the organization.
  • Incident Management: Addresses quality, safety, and service-related incidents, retraining staff as necessary and documenting all occurrences. Collaborates with department managers to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Workplace Safety: Manages workplace injury protocols, ensuring compliance with testing and follow-up requirements for both employees and patients.
