POSITION SUMMARY
- Accountable for executing mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols for patient safety and care. Reports to: Radiology Manager or Mammography Coordinator.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
- Must meet MQSA qualifications to perform Mammography.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- Current CPR certification is required.
- ARRT License is required (Mammogram Certification preferred).
- Active State License as a Diagnostic Radiographer is required.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficient understanding of mammography equipment, procedures, and protocols.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Expertise in patient positioning techniques.
- Strong keyboarding skills.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standardized practices.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail during diagnostic procedures.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING
