Job Summary

Argos USA, LLC, a leading cement and ready-mix producer, is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A or CDL B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join its team in High Springs, FL. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering loads to customers within the greater High Springs area, ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:




  • Must be at least 21 years of age, ensuring you have the necessary maturity and experience.




  • Must have a valid CDL A or CDL B license, providing you with the necessary credentials to operate heavy vehicles.




  • Must have 1 year of verifiable driving experience, demonstrating your ability to safely operate heavy vehicles.




  • Must have a clean MVR and no DUIs within the last 3 years, ensuring your safety and the safety of others on the road.




  • No suspensions in the last 30 days, demonstrating your ability to maintain a clean driving record.




  • No substance abuse violations in the last 3 years, ensuring your safety and the safety of others.




  • Must not be restricted from driving at night, providing you with the flexibility to work a variety of shifts.




  • Must be able to lift extension chutes and other items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds, at least 30 percent of the time, demonstrating your physical ability to perform the job requirements.




  • Must be able to work irregular hours depending on customer demands, with a busy season averaging 12-14 hour shifts, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.




  • Must be able to climb up and down ladder/stairs using three points of contact, ensuring your safety and ability to perform the job requirements.




  • Must be able to complete required paperwork for the position, demonstrating your administrative skills.




  • Must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, ensuring your compliance with federal regulations.




  • Must be able to successfully pass Department of Transportation (DOT) pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, MVR, and national background screen, Agility Test, and live within 25 miles of High Springs, FL, ensuring your safety and eligibility to work in the role.
