We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in High Springs, Florida. As a Contract Occupational Therapist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students in a dynamic and supportive educational setting.

Job Overview

As an Occupational Therapist with Soliant, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities. You will develop and implement personalized treatment plans and interventions to address students' specific needs and facilitate their progress.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities to determine individualized therapy goals.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans and interventions to address students' specific needs and promote their progress.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing a variety of therapy techniques and interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative and integrated approach to student care, including the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy interventions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on strategies and accommodations to promote students' functional independence and participation within the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including therapy plans, progress reports, and billing documentation.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid State Occupational Therapist license.
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school or pediatric setting, preferably with knowledge of IEP processes and collaboration with special education teams.
  • Strong understanding of various therapy techniques and interventions for children with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet student needs and documentation requirements.
