Work Schedule: Full-Time
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with three weekend shifts in a six-week rotation, including holidays.
Patient Community: AdventHealth Daytona Beach Acute Care Rehabilitation Services
Your Role:
Conduct assessments and formulate a suitable care plan to treat patients with physical impairments and functional limitations as prescribed by medical professionals.
Your Contributions:
· Evaluates patients' capabilities to safely and effectively perform mobility tasks and assesses muscle, nerve, joint, and skin systems.
· Develops and executes a tailored treatment plan based on established standards, recommended practices, insurance requirements, and patient needs. Monitors patient progress and adjusts the treatment plan as necessary.
· Accurately documents and charges for services in a timely manner, adhering to standards of practice, insurance protocols, and departmental policies.
· Assists with discharge planning and provides information on the appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and follow-up services.
Qualifications for Success:
Essential Requirements:
· Must hold a valid license in Florida as a Physical Therapist or possess a Temporary State permit as a Physical Therapist.
