We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at the Health Care District of Palm Beach County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to our patients in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including diagnosis, treatment, and referrals as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Prescribe and manage medications as necessary, while prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree required.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- Unrestricted license from the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine and the Florida Medical Board.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Drug Enforcement Agency Controlled Substance Registration.
- Previous experience in a rural setting and in a public-sponsored hospital.
- Bilingual/Trilingual in English, Creole, and Spanish.
