Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage all financial operations and lead corporate financial planning and structure.
2. Analyze and report financial performance to senior management and the Board of Directors, including projections and special projects as needed.
3. Prepare both short-term and long-term financial forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Supervise audit and tax functions, coordinating with external audit firms and assessing their performance.
5. Develop, implement, and uphold accounting and administrative policies for a variety of activities, including financial accounting, employee relations, and corporate policies.
6. Exhibit proficiency in corporate accounting, GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Oversee all corporate and human resource functions, including employee benefits and retirement plans.
8. Ensure effective internal controls are established and maintain compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
2. CPA or CFA certification is strongly preferred.
3. At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, ideally within the biotech or manufacturing sectors.
4. Strong knowledge of SOX compliance, 10-Qs, and 10-K reporting.
5. Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
6. Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on achieving results.
7. Comprehensive understanding of federal and state financial regulations, with a commitment to staying informed on industry trends.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
11. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
12. High integrity and dependability with a strong results-oriented mindset.
