Job Overview:
This role is primarily focused on the preparation of precise and timely standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS, as well as supporting external audits and periodic reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements and related analyses, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reports; present financial statements and variance analyses to management.
  • Consolidation & Eliminations: Prepare monthly consolidation and elimination entries to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of consolidated financial statements.
  • Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and disclosure forms in the Group Reporting System.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with subsidiaries to incorporate results from wholly owned and partially owned operations.
  • Monthly Close: Engage in monthly account reviews and reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and present monthly financial statements.
  • System Integration: Lead the review of system needs, develop specifications, analyze alternatives, and recommend software solutions.
  • Accounting Research: Investigate and resolve accounting issues and implement new accounting standards as required.
  • Policies & Procedures: Ensure alignment of accounting policies with the Group's standards.
  • Internal Controls: Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls and participate in the implementation of control initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review processes to ensure best practices and promote automation where beneficial.
  • External Audit Coordination: Assist in coordinating annual independent external audits of financial statements.
  • Derivatives Management: Analyze and prepare journal entries related to derivative transactions.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support other activities as directed by management.

Qualifications:
  • Licenses: CPA required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in corporate accounting, with experience in consolidations and financial statement preparation.
  • Preferred: Experience with finance and accounting ERP systems, IFRS accounting, and Big 4 audit experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and self-starter mentality.
