Job Title: Welder Specialist

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, fabricate, and weld together various pieces of large pressure vessels that are integral to our final air drying/desiccant systems.
  • Work primarily in your own designated welding area on the manufacturing floor.

Requirements:

  • MIG Welding
  • Sheet metal welding
  • Welding blueprint knowledge
  • Fabrication experience
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools (tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc.)
  • Ability to read from a schematic
  • Distinguish material types (Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel)
  • Pass a basic welding test
  • Computer skills (MS Office, business systems)

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to understand and follow written work instructions

Work Environment:

This position is located in a heavy manufacturing environment, specifically in the weld shop area.

Candidates must have previous experience working around heavy machinery and in welding.
