Job Overview

Argos USA, LLC, a leading cement and ready-mix producer, is seeking a skilled CDL A or B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join their team in Starke, FL. As a key member of the Argos team, you will be responsible for delivering loads to customers in the greater Starke area, ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a commercial vehicle to transport ready-mix concrete to customers in the Starke area.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A or B license.
  • At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
  • Clean MVR and no DUIs within the last 3 years.
  • No suspensions in the last 30 days.
  • No substance abuse violations in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to lift extension chutes and other items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds, at least 30 percent of the time.
  • Ability to work irregular hours depending on customer demands.
  • Ability to climb up and down ladder/stairs using three points of contact.
  • Ability to complete required paperwork for the position.
