Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at PeaceHealth in Vancouver, WA. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including diagnostic testing, oxygen and medication delivery, and bronchial hygiene.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NPPV) systems.
  • Participate in in-house educational in-services and attend outside seminars and workshops to stay current with best practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Accredited Program Required: Respiratory Care Program.
  • Must pass the NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist exam within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Preferred: Experience in ICU, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics.
  • Required: Respiratory Care Practitioner - Washington.
  • Required: Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Required: Basic Life Support.
  • Required: ACLS.
