Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at PeaceHealth. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including diagnostic testing, oxygen and medication delivery, and ventilator management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan individual patient care, taking into account patient needs and medical history.
  • Provide respiratory care, including diagnostic testing, oxygen and medication delivery, and ventilator management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in in-house educational in-services and attend outside seminars and workshops to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Accredited Respiratory Care Program or approved alternative education.
  • Must pass the NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist exam within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Preferred: Experience in ICU, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics.
  • Required: Respiratory Care Practitioner - Washington.
  • Required within 6 months: Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support and ACLS certification.
