We are seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team at GB - Global. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving complex workers compensation claims. You will work in partnership with our clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and evaluate complex workers compensation claims to determine the extent of liability and potential damages.
- Resolve claims in accordance with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and standard methodologies to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to claimants, exhibiting empathy and professionalism throughout the claims process.
- Document and communicate claim activity in a timely and efficient manner to support the outcome of the claim file.
- Work in partnership with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years related claims experience.
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
- Computer experience with related claims and business software.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Jurisdictional experience: Minimum 2 years.
- Active Adjusters' licenses: California Designation is required. SIP optional.
