ProMach is in search of a Mechanical Assembly Specialist to become part of our Zalkin product brand, located in our Statham, GA facility.

- Interprets engineering schematics and/or manufacturing guides, templates, bills of materials, and/or verbal/written directives to ascertain the necessary preparation and assembly of bottle handling sub-assemblies.
- Prepares various components for assembly, including tasks such as deburring, drilling holes, countersinking, routing, or grinding.
- Assembles and adjusts components to create precise sub-assemblies according to specifications, ensuring they meet the operational requirements of the bottle handling product.
- Operates engraving machinery and software to inscribe specific labels on parts, including standard company information and logos.
- Utilizes a range of hand and power tools, such as drill presses, routers, grinders, screwdrivers, and clamps.
- Employs various precision measuring instruments, including scales, calipers, and micrometers, to inspect and confirm that parts meet specifications and tolerances.
- Assembles standardized mechanical units where meticulous craftsmanship and precision are essential to meet stringent inspection, testing, and operational standards.
- Positions, aligns, levels, and integrates sub-assemblies and components, performing fitting, aligning, timing, calibrating, and other tasks related to the mechanical assembly of machinery.
- Inspects components for proper machining finishes and dimensions, verifying sub-assemblies and units.
- May transport designated parts between various locations within the facility, either manually or using mechanical lifting aids.
- Adheres strictly to all safety protocols regarding hand and power tool operation, assembly processes, and workplace cleanliness.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Understands the necessary components for each job order.
- Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in facility and equipment maintenance or equipment fabrication/assembly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- General understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques, and practices.
- Experience in reading mechanical drawings, 3-D models, and AutoCAD layouts.
- Proficient in PC/computer skills, including word processing, data analysis, and spreadsheet applications.
- Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to identify tasks that need to be completed.
