Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Access Control Technician to join our team at TEKsystems. As an Access Control Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing mag locks, electric strikes, door hardware, and access control systems for commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain access control systems, including mag locks and electric strikes.
  • Service and repair door hardware and access control systems.
  • Plan and execute security system installations, including surveying and evaluating locations to identify alarm installation requirements.
  • Verify access and CCTV systems are functioning correctly by testing equipment, connections, and signals.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and services.

Requirements:

  • Experience with a wide range of CCTV and access control systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
