FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt - Hourly Part Time

Summary

ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking dedicated Event Staff members. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations during events and requires adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a ticket taker and usher, assisting patrons with seating and distributing event materials.
  • Support pre-event preparations, including setup, decoration, and material organization.
  • Provide assistance to patrons with special needs, including wheelchair access and accommodations for senior citizens and groups.
  • Oversee parking operations, directing traffic and ensuring security within the parking area.
  • Engage with visitors and patrons, offering information and assistance during events.
  • Be available for extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

None

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work flexible hours that may vary based on event schedules, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations as they arise.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, and patrons.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check as per corporate standards.
Physical Demands

The physical requirements for this position include the ability to move throughout the venue, stand for extended periods during events, and effectively communicate with patrons.
