Wound Care Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team at The Laurels of Bedford. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents with skin disorders and wounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents with skin disorders.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' skin conditions and develop treatment plans to promote healing and prevent further complications.
  • Provide education and training to residents and their families on skin care and wound management.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • At least two years of experience in wound care or a related field.
  • CPR certification.
