We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our launch operations team at Relativity Space. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and engineering new launch and test infrastructures, managing construction projects, and collaborating with internal technical teams to define architectural and structural requirements.
Your expertise in civil and structural design, engineering, and project management will be essential in ensuring the successful execution of our launch and test operations. You will work closely with our engineering teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for our launch and test infrastructures.
About YouWe are looking for a motivated and experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in civil and structural design, engineering, and project management. You should have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related technical discipline, and at least 5 years of experience in the aerospace or construction industry.
You should be familiar with American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) steel manual, American Concrete Institute (ACI) code 318, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 7, and International Building Code (IBC). Experience with project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling, as well as proficiency in CAD programs such as NX, AutoCAD, and analysis software like SAP2000 and ETABS, is also required.
