  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Provide guidance to business units on selecting and managing third-party vendors.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting third-party risk management.

Decision-Making Authority:

  • Deliver vendor risk assessment findings to IT and business leaders to inform future vendor relationships.
  • Identify and escalate critical risks to senior management.
  • Facilitate discussions with vendors and business owners to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Determine the necessary level of ongoing monitoring for each vendor relationship.

Communication:

  • Report to the Manager of Third-Party Risk Management, providing updates on daily operations and activities.
  • Engage with business owners to review risk exposure and communicate vendor risks.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Privacy teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work alongside IT Vendor Management to align cybersecurity practices with vendor management policies.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity product teams to support the identification and remediation of gaps in third-party cybersecurity assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, risk management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in cyber risk management, vendor management, audit, compliance, or information security.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to third-party risk management.
  • Experience in conducting vendor risk assessments and identifying potential risks.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and their cybersecurity requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
