Key Responsibilities

As a Forklift Operator, your primary duties will include:

  • Safely loading and unloading flatbed trucks, ensuring materials are staged correctly.
  • Operating forklifts while maintaining a secure working environment.
  • Keeping the work area organized and safe.
  • Assisting with tasks such as tying rebar and supporting machine operators in fabrication processes.
  • Participating in equipment clean-up and pre-inspections.
  • Adhering to company and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Supporting maintenance and production teams during scheduled repairs and regular operations.
  • Operating mobile equipment as required.
  • Working in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Performing cleanup and other assigned duties.
Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should have at least 4 years of experience operating forklifts with a capacity of 10,000 lbs, specifically in loading and unloading flatbed trailers and trucks.

Availability: Must be able to work from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in forklift operation is highly desirable.
