Job Summary

Rack, un-rack, and package customer products in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rack, un-rack, and package customer parts according to work orders.
  • Ensure all customer products and tooling are handled properly to avoid damage.
  • Monitor equipment to ensure they are functioning and calibrated correctly.
  • Visually inspect products prior to racking and notify the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.
  • Record necessary racking and un-racking information on work orders.
  • Work safely at all times and comply with all safety regulations while handling hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Work with a positive attitude and report any questions or problems to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
Physical and Environmental Hazards
  • Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Sharp parts, sharp tooling, heavy carts, occasional hot and cold temperatures, and humidity levels.
  • Heat from ovens, moderate noise levels, limited hand and air tool use, compressed air (must use hearing protection).
  • Potential splash exposure near process lines.
  • Responsibilities are repetitive in nature.
  • Various chemicals used in the process.
Requirements
  • High-school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write English on documents such as work orders, safety instructions, and dispositions of parts.
  • Ability to speak English sufficiently to allow for adequate communication in emergencies and to allow for effective cooperation with peers.
