Cardiac Surgery ICU Nurse Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiac Surgery ICU. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts
  • Current Cardiac Surgery ICU experience preferred
  • Ability to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
