Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Nevada Integrated Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide high-quality clinical care to patients in a clinic setting. As a key member of our primary care team, you will build meaningful relationships with patients, their family members, healthcare providers, and office staff while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose conditions, creating treatment plans and prescribing medications as needed
- Collaborate with physicians to achieve optimal health outcomes for patients
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients assigned to the primary care team
- Guide nursing personnel regarding treatment plans and care issues
- Document treatment plans in the medical record
- Coordinate care for patients and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare providers
Requirements:
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner Certification in Primary Care, Geriatric, Adult, or Physician Assistant certification, or ability to obtain
- DEA License
- Active unrestricted APRN or PA-C license in Nevada
- Ability to work with people and communicate effectively with patients, primary care team members, and management staff
- Experience in making care decisions based on best medical practices with or without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
- Basic technical proficiency in the use of computer programs for medical records or internet searches for clinical practice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish speaking
- Knowledge of mental health issues
- Familiarity with Medicare and ICD-10 coding
- Acute care experience in primary care and mental health
- Ability to formulate a differential diagnosis
- Proficient in the assessment and development of treatment plans
