Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide and coordinate high-quality respiratory care in accordance with physician orders, aimed at promoting patient health and recovery.

Primary Duties Include:
  • Administering a range of respiratory therapies, including aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Utilizing sound judgment to assess and address patient needs.
  • Engaging in continuous education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
  • Participating in patient rounds and communicating essential patient information during shift changes.
  • Providing education to patients and families regarding treatment procedures and disease management.
  • Developing care plans using established respiratory therapy protocols.
Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy, with a preference for an Associate or Bachelor's degree.

Licensure: Must hold a valid license from the North Dakota State Board of Respiratory Care.

Experience: Completion of respiratory therapy orientation phases is required, with specific experience in areas such as Pulmonary Function Lab, ICU, or NICU being preferred.

Potential exposure to various hazards associated with medical operations is expected. Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are mandatory, with additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) being advantageous.
