The Senior Human Resources Partner plays a pivotal role in collaborating with management to provide comprehensive support to employees in a timely and professional manner. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including HR Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, employee engagement, and the formulation and upkeep of policies.

Ideal Candidate:

The preferred candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish) with prior experience as an HR Business Partner, eager to join a dynamic and inspiring team. The Senior HR Partner is a seasoned professional adept at managing multiple client groups simultaneously, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. This position requires an innovative and collaborative approach to address and resolve business challenges. The successful candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities, and a commitment to AAR's core values of integrity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide guidance to leaders and employees on HR-related issues, including policies, employee development, and engagement.
  2. Serve as the HR liaison for supported client groups.
  3. Administer various HR plans and procedures, assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies.
  4. Evaluate reports and outcomes for client groups in relation to established objectives.
  5. Propose new strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery.
  6. Collaborate with local HR leadership on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and workplace investigations.
  7. Assist with separation processes, including exit interviews and necessary documentation.
  8. Partner with business leaders and HR teams to manage the annual Performance Management program.
  9. Maintain HRIS records and generate reports on personnel changes.
  10. Coordinate mandatory training sessions and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
  11. Foster teamwork within the department and assist in training new team members.
  12. Manage workload to meet deadlines, often under pressure, while supporting team members as needed.
  13. Ensure personnel records are accurate and up-to-date.
  14. Embody AAR's values of integrity and excellence in all actions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of eight years in a Human Resources Generalist role with progressive responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in Spanish (Level 2).
  • Experience with ADP HRIS and government contracts.
  • Familiarity with Cost Point, Taleo, and Workday systems.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resource Management.
