Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Intern to support multiple projects in IT Risk & Security Governance. This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) will work closely with our IT staff to manage active incidents and ensure the security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review alerts to determine impact on systems and employees, and perform response tasks
  • Analyze various data sets to investigate potentially malicious activity
  • Review threat material to assess impact and necessary actions
  • Collaborate with IT staff to resolve active incidents efficiently
  • Review daily reports on phishing emails, locked accounts, and potentially malicious activity

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are also essential.

Qualified candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program or have a strong background in cybersecurity, computer science, or information systems. Prior corporate experience is beneficial, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
